Loka Toronto



Loka is an exploration of Canadian cuisine, with an ever-changing menu of inventive, ingredient-inspired dishes, served in a laid-back atmosphere. Named the Best New Restaurant in 2015 by NOW Magazine and Top 20 Best New Restaurant by Toronto Life.

We feature an extensive cured meat program, focusing on whole animal butchery with a zero waste policy.

We work with small producers, for this reason the ingredients inspire the menu, which changes daily. The menu is posted each day on Facebook at 4pm.

We are happy to accommodate any food allergies or restrictions, including gluten-free or vegan – we love vegetables too! In addition to our regular menu we offer a full vegetarian menu for our vegetable loving friends.

Please note we’re a small independent restaurant and last minute cancellations hurt us as we have turned away other guests.

To confirm a reservation we do require a credit card number. There is a 25/person fee for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. If you do need to cancel we’d really appreciate a phone call.

Groups & Events

We’re happy to welcome groups of more than six and offer a set menu at a number of price levels. Call or email to discuss menu options.

Unfortunately we do not allow outside food and drink. However, if you are celebrating a birthday we’re happy to provide dessert along with candles.

Chef’s Table



The Chef’s Table is available each night at 6pm and 9pm. It’s two seats at the pass overlooking the Chef’s station and he serves you a tasting menu for $100 per person.

When you make a reservation simply write in the notes that you would like the Chef’s Table and we will confirm your booking.



The Menu

We offer a regular menu and a full vegetarian menu each evening and are happy to accommodate food allergies and preferences. The menu includes small plates that can be shared, although they are larger than tapas we recommended 2-3 plates per guest.

The “Taste the Whole Menu” option includes smaller portions of the a la carte menu. Guests can choose this option for themselves or to split amongst two people.
